We are able to carry out patent and trade mark searches for you. Currently we charge £41.13 (including VAT) for a patent search and £10 (including VAT) for a trade mark search.

Patent Clinics

You can make a booking to see a Patent Attorney or business advisor at one of the clinics held at Manchester City Library or Blackburn Central Library.

Business and Information Advice

• UK contacts – For advice and information and business start-ups.
• Grants and other funding – You may be able to obtain business start-up and other funding using the resources in the Commercial Library.
